Re: Arizona seasons

[ Edited ]

That's not true of Northern AZ.  We have four seasons and you can bet on the fact that we are at least 20 degrees lower than Phoenix. In Show Low we have one of AZ's two ski resorts A short drive away. We use our AC less than we use our heater/ fireplace. We have 40  + lakes and an Indian Casino. All we are missing to make it t heaven is Costco and Trader Joes.

I wonder why people seem to like to move to Arizona?

Following the Guthrie case, wondering why she chose to live there? The land and climate seem foreboding?

Arizona has a diverse climate. There are areas that get snow and have mild summers.

It's a gorgeous state, and I'll take our weather and freedoms over tornadoes, hurricanes and mudslides any day.

I love AZ flora and fauna--not so much the h3ll fire heat in those months but winter/early spring is fabulous--always loved the idea of thanksgiving there--and roasting the turkey on the bbq---eating on the patio--never did that tho. Had good friends that lived there--still do-- but they turned to the dark side --politically--and couldn't be involved in any of that. Used to go visit a couple times a year and always went to the botanical gardens ----my fave!!
