Re: Arizona and daylight saving time

I was looking at the First Alert Weather app last night and noticed that they had 1am listed twice..........maybe because we changed the clocks back? capture.jpg

Re: Arizona and daylight saving time

I'm an early riser so I like Standard Time, the way it is now, b/c I like it to get light outside early in the morning to start my day.

Re: Arizona and daylight saving time

I have eight clocks to manually change. I have to change my car clock manually.  That one is the most annoying as I forget the process. Some cars have automatic time change.

Getting an hour more sleep is a joke. We are all given 24 hours a day, period. Pros and cons abound. I am for pick one.

I personally don't see what all the fuss is about.  It's two days of changing a clock.  So many people in this world have much more serious problems to be thinking about...People whine too much...

Re: Arizona and daylight saving time

In my area Sunday's daylight is two minutes less than Saturday. Saturday was two minutes less than Friday. We lost 13½ minutes in the last week alone w/out a time change.

It's that time of year when the days are shorter, period.🤷‍♀️

I think we need to pick a time and stick with it.  It messes with worker's shifts and communications with other countries for work.  Just stop the nonsense.

Re: Arizona and daylight saving time

I'd also enjoy staying on Standard Time, @SilleeMee .   I can rarely sleep beyond 6:00 a.m.,  and it's a joy to me to wake up to daylight.

Dislike waking in the dark-- reminds me when we had to get up in the dark during family vacations, to hit the road early!   Bummer.

Also, since I immediately have to stumble down the back stairs to feed the stray cats who are fixing our house with a steady, hungry gaze, having daylight is a plus.

And weirdly, I feel happier, more optimistic about my whole morning and day if I don't have to wake up in the dark.
