Good Afternoon Everyone.

We are having a blizzard this afternoon. We're expecting 8-12" of snow. This will continue until 10am tomorrow morning. I wish I could hibernate through this mess. I am so thankful that I don't have to be anywhere tomorrow. It gives me time to work in down sizing. Not that it any fun, but it has to get done.

bad morn here

had a power blip causing a wi fi disconnect. wi fi would not come back on, called verizon. they sent out a guy asap, he could not figure it out either. then he saw the GFI circuit thingy he looked at the breaker box, sure enough, flip GFI circuit breaker off turn back on back in business. hate glitches on a monday morn, had a full blowen panic attack. ok guys later.

Good grief @Leeny   I didn't know your part of the country was going to get hit like that.  Yesterday started out kinda nice if overcast, 70's. Then a little bit of rain came, some gusty winds and the temps dropped 20 degrees.  As soon as I felt the change in temperature I ran through the house and closed the windows.  So far this morning.... rain is spitting now and then and smaller hail pellets now and then.

Would you believe that all the snow is melted and tomorrow will be in the 50's. The only problem now is the worry for a lot of flooding for some folks. I am so glad that I don't have a basement and that I live in an area that doesn't have much to worry about.

I try to keep busy for obvious reasons. So today I did 3 loads of laundry and moved my small trunk into my bedroom and the little rocking chair into the spare bedroom. Also I got all the figurines and pictures put up in the bookcase that I am keeping. I cut way back on them.. The kids are coming Saturday to see what they want and I hope they take a lot. 

Tomorrow I am going to the Y in the afternoon to get my exercise in. I am glad the weather will be good and not nasty like yesterday. I have a book to pick up at the Library tomorrow that I had a reserve on. My doctor recommended 3 books and the first one I am almost finished with. It's called The Book of Joy. It is a very good read to my surprise.

I hope you will have no further issues with the fence or the yard or the guys who are going to put the fence up. Who needs anymore stress then what we already deal with??

hello all

power came back on about 11-midnight last night.

town is saying a car accident caused this whole episode. think there is more to this story . a car accident causing a whole entire town plus businesses the entire town to just fold up and close at 2pm. there is more to this story.

anyway, dh just got home, 2pm dental check.
