One of my pressure cookers smells like BBQ from making pulled pork in it. Yum!!!

We also eat BBQ shredded chicken sandwiches.

We both love BBQ.

We mix half n half Head Country BBQ sauce with the Original Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce.

Head Country started getting thinner before they sold the place. Now it's even thinner.  Sweet Baby Ray's is thick.

I don't want any other brand BBQ sauce. We eat it on homemade rolls or homemade hamburger buns.

Yum!

Homemade rolls and hamburger buns sound great too.

It's funny with our atypical 70's weather vs normal snowy weather here in Denver I'm craving summer food ha.

Will be having Corky's ribs in the next couple days Smiley Happy

It's supposed to be cold in Dec. It's 78° in OK. We broke a record.

We made our Prime Rib Sat in the Ronco E-Z Store Rotisserie. It always turns out so good.

We didn't want to mess with it yesterday or today. Eating ham leftovers today.

DH made homemade biscuits this morning with sausage gravy from sausage he makes.

I told him he needed to start making bacon.

They have smoked baby back ribs at the meat market on Sat so we will pick up a slab.

Enjoy this nice weather.

You too @Nightowlz with this goofy weather?  Wow.

That is how we cook our prime rib also in the Showtime Rotisserie.  So delicious!

Enjoy your tropical weather too Smiley Happy

When I lived in the Caribbean, pork was very popular there. They would roast a whole pig in a open fire pit on the beach. Then the meat was taken off and shredded, seasoned and served with rice and beans. Sides included plantanos (a type of green banana not sweet but like a boiled potato), fritters and codfish cakes.

Yum so delicious that's the real deal.

Interesting you lived in the Caribbean for how long?

I've worked for 2 different airlines on the ground in headquarters but would take pleasure trips to the Caribbean.  Love the food & people.

Pulled pork is very delicious. Most B-B-Q places sell it.

I think this is just called BBQ where I'm from (the South). Of course I love it.

Barbecued pulled pork is one of my all-time favorite foods.  In fact, I think any pork has much more flavor that beef or chicken.  Love slow cooked pork roast and sauerkraut with in winter.

Anytime I'm offered a choice of meats, I'll take pork.

We always stop at Parker's in North Carolina when we are driving South. Most of the time the restaurant is not open when we stop by. Sometimes at 9 AM. So they have a board with all their food selections at the take out section.

I used to see BBQ sandwich. So I ordered it one time because I had no idea what I would get. Well that was it. I order it every time we stop now. Not only does it have pulled pork with BBQ sauce but cole slaw too. Well worth driving out of our way.

Yum, we love pulled pork.  Last weekend my husband got out his smoker and smoked pork and spare ribs.  Pork is delicious cooked this way.

During the summer months, we often go to a BBQ smoke place near where we camp. They have chicken, beef and pork. All types of ribs and brisket. They also make smoked Mac and cheese.

I can't wait until they open again starting in April. They are only open during the warmer months.

We have quite a few churches here that roast pork butts and sell them as fund raisers. I have to serve pork on New Years Day so I started buying these and serving on that day. Saved me time to cook everything else and not worry about cooking a perfect meat course. I don't care for a lot of sauces, too sweet for my liking, and just serve sauce on the side. Pulled pork sandwiches are a favorite of mine.
