Any Recommendations For Good Quality Vitamins?

I am looking for vitamins without iron as I am over 50 and past menopause. There are so many out in the marketplace I really don't know which ones would be the better ones. Any recommendations would be helpful. Thanks

Re: Any Recommendations For Good Quality Vitamins?

Centrum Silver Chewables were the best ones I was able to find that did not contain iron when I was searching a few years back for vitamins that did not exceed the safe upper limits for ingredients.

There are a ton of different versions, but you definitely want the chewables version in the Silver line.

The orange ones are the bomb Smiley Very Happy

I like Andrew Lessman Essential Vitamin with out iron. They do not bother my stomach at all. My mother recommended them to me because all others gave her stomach issues also.

If you are a Costco member, their Kirkland brand Women over 50 have been touted as the best quality and purest you can buy.  As a matter of fact, that includes ALL their vitamins.   I take them and agree.

I'm a recent convert to Andrew Lessman's products, thanks to @bebe777 and I have not regreted it. What I like the most is that they are not hard, solid pills. They are in capsule form with very fine powder inside. Easy to digest; quickly goes into the system, and so far they have been good for my body. Smiley Happy

Ask your pharmacist. You might just be surprised at the answer.

I highly recommend shopping for vitamins at your local health food store(s) where the owners, managers and employees are particularly knowledgable and able to provide personalized service answering your questions.  I took this one for a few years while transitioning to a more mediterranean diet and loved it:

I use Cooper Complete w/o Iron. Dr. Kenneth Cooper (introduced the concept of aerobics) of the Cooper Clinic here in Dallas has a complete line of vitamins and supplements, and I've been taking the Cooper Complete Original Multivitamin w/o Iron as well as the Omega 3 and Joint Health Supplement.

Can order them online and get automatic shipments.

I was taking these for a bit, but I had concerns about the Ginko/Ginseng in them.  I just didn't take that pill in the packet.

I've since switched to the Andrew Lessman multis.
