Re: Anxious and apprehensive...asking for prayers please.

I understand your fears and can empathize.

But, I do think you were wise to schedule both procedures together and get both done at once.

Prayers sent for a good outcome. Bless you.

Re: Anxious and apprehensive...asking for prayers please.

Thank you everyone for all your prayers, well wishes and positive thoughts!🤗 Everything went well! I'm home. Just had a poached egg, dry toast and weak tea. Thanks to all of your prayers, 🙏🏼 a lot of Hail Mary's and God's will...I woke up!😊 I really appreciate your responding. It helped me to feel less anxious. Now, I'm ready for a nap after being up all night with that prep. Thanks again! You guys are The Best!😍

The sedation used for outpatient procedures does not put you into a deep sleep.

I know. These are considered minor procedures but things happen. A friend of mind told me recently that someone she knew had endoscopy and colonoscopy and never woke up. And know she didn't know I was going to have them. She was going to have a colonoscopy at the place where he was. I was at a hospital. But thank you for taking the time to respond. 🤗

Glad it went well @Starpolisher. I'd have been anxious too.

Yay!  I was hoping you'd post afterward @Starpolisher .  I have a huge phobia for doctors and health issues so I can relate.

Re: Anxious and apprehensive...asking for prayers please.

You had every right to feel anxious. I don't know many people who aren't apprehensive about invasive medical procedures. But, it sounds like you aced it.

Yahoo, unpleasant testing, now completed. Hope the test results were good, too. Best of health to you.

Never think twice to ask for prayer. What you're experiencing is understandable

And normal

I expressed my same apprehension to my doctor and now I do the new Cologuard Home Test.

I have had both tests you are having, and it went so quick I woke not thinking anything

Of it.

God Bless You

You are in HIS good keeping-

Re: Anxious and apprehensive...asking for prayers please.

I'm having both done in April. Have had them both done in the past together. No problem. Better to be sedated once. The endoscopy only takes 10 minutes. Relax and good luck.
