I signed up, but haven't used it yet. I am hesitating because I just got my lst Smartphone which doesn't seem to have an anti-virus. You have to connect the account to Paypal to receive your money, and I don't feel safe doing that. Any thoughts?

Go ahead and use PayPal. I was hesitant at first, too. Once I gave it a try, I use it often and find it a safe way to pay for items on-line wiithout giving my credit card number out to other on-line merchandants. PayPal is very reliable, legal, safe and secure. Confident you will be safe using your new phone and you'll receive your money promptly. If you have any problems, they are always available to help, too. Good people working for you. Enjoy!

@geegerbee I have been using Ibotta since last April and have accumulated over $100 in rebates that I have sucessfully transferred over to my PayPal account. I also use Ebates and RetailMeNot, both .com. Between all these apps/accounts, I've accumulated quite a bit of rebates which I transfer over to my PP account.

@geegerbee

Iphones have never been hacked, according to the articles I read yesterday.

Unless someone steals your phone, you are safe with an iPhone.

You are even safe if someone grabs your phone as long as you have created a passcode, which immediately encrypts the data on the phone/device.
