@Luvsmyfam

Nothing is worse than car shopping in hot weather. I think this last car shopping ordeal, in March, was the only time it wasn't hot.  I'm not good at making a good decision when I'm boiling hot.

in 1999 my husband and I rode our  bikes over to a Chevy dealer to look at Suburbans.  It was hot when we left, but oh my when we got to car lot, the outside temp. gauge read 112.  The lot was vacant, no one was out. The heat on that hire tar Mac was horrid,   Someone came out to greet us, and left us to look. lol. We came back another day and bought. But my husband and I still talk about that hot lot, the heat just bouncing off the tarmac.  My head was getting sunburnt. We got on our bikes and hurried home. You can think or look in hot sun at cars,

The last time I bought  new car was in the summer of 2020.  It was during covid and the dealership wasn't crowded.  I pretty much knew that I wanted a small Honda SUV but I just had to give it a test drive before deciding.  I had a woman who was new as my salesperson and I didn't feel any stress with her.

Once I drove the car it felt comfortable for my small frame (many cars just seem like they are built for a large man) and I was satisfied with the cost.

I requested a certain color and beyond that I knew that Hondas are reliable for the most part so I wasn't going to make a huge project out of buying a car.  I made the purchase and I'm still happy with my reliable and comfortable 4 wheel drive Honda HRV.

I've been lucky to not have this problem. I know what I want, what I want to spend, and research inventories at reputable dealers/sources before going shopping.
