i really love amazon!

i order at least once a month, sometimes two ... and i find that i am picking up a lot of 'drugstore' items.  it is especially handy to be able to order on amazon those things that are located on the very bottom shelf at the store ... so very often the one thing i want is on that very bottom shelf, and not only can i NOT READ the labels from where i am standing, often times the shelf supply is all mixed up and things are not where they belong (if i was able to see the label LOL).  the other irritation is that often times they don't have the one i am looking for!

it's so much easier to just press a few buttons, and bingo!

Me too.  I'm at the point now where, when I see something I want; I check out Amazon first.  You cannot be that 1-2 delivery.

I wish Gates would concentrate on the United States as much as he supports/gifts third world countries.

Everyone, even wealthy people, are free to do whatever they want or don't want to do with their money. And that's the way it should be.

The way Amazon has saved me may/may not apply to other situations.

My most egregious packing errors (lol) have been remedied by Amazon.

1) Enzymes were delivered to a hotel for me in San Antonio!

2) A delivery of a hard-to-find necessity has been delivered out of town for me every time we travel, it seems. One time it was even unmentionables!

3) DGCs presents and also even the adults sometimes, are wrapped and delivered!

Many very wealthy people live lifestyles that others criticize, and spend their money on things that other people think are extravagant.  I work with a lot of those people (some very well-known), and the constant criticism is that they should be giving their money to charity.  Well, in most cases, they are giving a LOT to charity!

Just because someone spends their money on things that others think are over-the-top doesn't mean they aren't also donating a ton of money to very worthy causes.  And lots of them donate a great deal of time too.  (Often this is done very privately.)
