Amazon continues surprising me! In a good way. So here's the latest.
Tonight ordered "Anastasia Brow Wiz" No Tax! Delivery Thursday.

I find SO many products I could never buy here!

I use that! Bought it at Ulta, which isn’t close to me.
nice to know, that when we’re too busy to travel out of our area to shop, that amazon can get our things to us so quickly, at no extra cost.

The only thing that bothers me about Amazon is the way Jeff Bezos uses his fortune. Unlike Bill Gates and other billionaires, he apparently has no regard or feels no responsibility for contributing to "the greater good". Like a little boy, he's interested in and supports building space rockets which, to me, seems like a totally facetious use of his fortune and very selfish. I know it's his money but he wouldn't have it if it weren't for us citizens of the world. It could do so much good.

He has donated thousands of dollars to help with the homeless problem in Seattle. Perhaps you should read up on him before you judge him.

@sofgirl. Thousands of dollars is a pretty pitiful contribution from a man whose fortune is estimated at $126 Billion.
"Bezos has not engaged in public philanthropy to the same extent as many of his hyper-billionaire peers like Warren Buffett and Bill Gates, who have both pledged to donate the majority of their fortunes to charity."
"Indeed, Bezos told Döpfner that he plans to spend his entire fortune on space exploration, saying "I am going to use my financial lottery winnings from Amazon to fund that."

Nobody knows how much he has given to anybody.....except Bezos and the IRS.

@Desertdi. How about the recipients?

@Kachina624 I dunno........do the recipients even know where it came from? I used to work for the director of a HUGE foundation. We didn't "advertise" our gifts. I am very skeptical of donors who "blow their own horn"...........like the one who made the news today(!!)
