Continues...💜

Today without long winded (story) package arrived. Transaction third party.

Suffice to say! Not pleased. Contacted the company given the run around.

Called Amazon explained situation. Full refund! Within the hour. Plus tax.😍

Amazon is wonderful about refunds & returns. I've even received a damaged item & was refunded without returning the item. THAT is customer service!!

I've never had any problem with Amazon, but it's good to know that if I ever do, I can trust their customer service. It surprises me sometimes how fast they are. I usually only shop at Christmas or for my nieces and nephew's birthdays, but I've had several instances when two days after ordering it's at the door. (And I don't pay for fast shipping). My biggest issue with retailers is the catalogue companies. I don't buy much, just an occasional thing or two, and my seed orders. They take forever to come and woe is me if I have to contact customer services.

You might or might not? Be interested! The amount of my purchase substantial. Did not request refund, Amazon offered. Yes! Indeed.😊

Not a fan!

I have and do purchase occasionally from Amazon, but....

Have had the third party vendors send incorrect merchandise and not respond to requests to make it right.

Have had orders sent to other states and addresses I've never seen before.

Have had to wait months and make several inquiries to get refund for those orders.

Have received merchandise that was not the brand being sold/described online when ordering. Bait and switch kind of thing.

Nope, not a fan.

Wow.  My son deals with third party vendors all the time.  Whenever he has had issues they are very quick to resolve the issue.  Have you called Amazon directly?

@GSPgirl

Multiple times, yes.

In my opinion they are just too big and too impersonal.

There are a few things I can't find anywhere but there, but for the most part, they are my last choice to buy something.

I am shopping more and more with Amazon. I find their customer service can’t be beat. I am a Prime member and I mostly stick with Prime purchases. I have used the occasional third party and if something went wrong and the vendor wouldn't reply, Amazon made it right immediately.

I order a lot from Amazon, but have learned to be wary of food products and clothing items.  I have recieved expired foods and paid too much for foods that I later found at my local stores for much less.  Also, the clothing is not something I would want to wear.  If it is a name brand, I will buy it from another provider.

Otherwise, when I buy tech items, cartridges for my printer, all kinds of office supplies, I could not be happier, but have been bit too many times otherwise.
