I can kind of see your point @judy0330.  Heck, we've been known to get snow in April where I live.

Re: Almost Time to Spring Forward!!!

I look forward to it as I love that daylight in the evenings.  Dogs get a little off schedule but they'll adjust.

Our state legislature right now is considering putting us on DST all year.  Hope they can agree on it.

Pick one time - Standard or Daylight Savings - and stick with it. Split 1/2 hour difference if that's what it takes. I'm tired of these unecessary time switches.

You've been bothered by this all your life @sandraskates, or has it just begun to bother you?

Good question @itiswhatitis.

I think it mostly bothers me over the last 20 years due to having to get up early to go to work. I hate losing that hour of sleep; feels like I get in a time warp for a couple of weeks.

And then when we get the hour back, when I'm at work I start to think, "Gee, if we were on DST I'd be off work by now." LOL!

I really think it's only a matter of time (no pun intended) that one standard will be chosen.

I hear you @sandraskates.  I've noticed the older I get the more things bother me that didn't use to.  LOL. I do like the extra daylight.  I just hope we don't get more snow to go with it.

Who is ready for the Spring Forward?   I like the extra hour of daylight, but it sometimes feels weird if it's cold outside.

I'm ready though.  Spring Forward on March 12, 2017.

Oh good, Not only do I love going back on Daylight Savings time, but then the clock in my car will be right again.  Smiley Happy

Can't wait!!  Here in AZ we never change clocks; HOWEVER, daughter and family live in CA and it will be a pleasure not to constantly have that 1 hour time difference when contacting them!!

I'm so glad we don't change in Arizona. Last thing we need is another hour

of sunlight when it's 110 degrees. I do wish they would pick one or the other and just stay with it. That way people wouldn't have to juggle things around.

Looking forward to spring and summer, the warmer weather and flowers!  By June 21st, we will have 22 hrs of daylight, and the sun doesn't really set in the horizon.  I don't look forward to these extremely long days, as it really plays havoc with your body clock/sleep.  Thank goodness for blackout curtains!

I am not ready to lose an hour. I know its just an hour but it takes me a good month or two to get use to it.
