I have one. I use it mostly for door alertst. The best thing is that I have it automatically play brown noise at bedtime to help me get to sleep.

i have 3, bedroom, office and basement family room. I have a show-new-still figuring it out.

i like the dots because it tells me when azon packages have arrived, tells me the weather every a.m., plays azon music and Iheart radio stations, answers questions and give reminders. Basement one is handy because i can "announce" dinners ready and don't have to yell! 

I put the new show in the bedroom(has alexa+)

That would be a no for me. I bought these several months ago and they do not work as they should. Displays have quit working. There are better ECHO's out there.

Yeah I got my spot today although I think I got a return. The seal on the box was already cut and I'm not sure if it's usually just sitting in there. Either way it works well and the sound is pretty good. Played some inappropriate rap music through it and it was good for such a little thing. I have my echo towers in a group and probably won't use the spot for that anyway.
