    Sometimes, I think the academy of voters ,  vote for movies based on curent social issues .  No doubt Adrian Brody is a terrific actor, but  Timothy  Chalamet  and Edward Norton were   terrific in " A Complete Unknown ".

Demi is undoubtedly disappointed,  but the entire experience over the past year is probably a great career boost.  Renewed interest and new offers. 

At least she's not Diane Warren who lost for the 16th time!  Diane told a reporter "at least I'm consistent."

Demi should be happy. She won the Golden Globe award and the Screen Actors Guild award. That is not a small accomplishment.
