No, I'm glad it's over and gone.  All we've heard about for almost seven months is Christmas.  It's no celebration for many of us who are alone without family around.

Winter in my area is not drab; I love its bright sunny days of cool weather.   It's  the best time of year.

@Kachina624 - my favorite day is January 2nd. Holidays are over (I don't celebrate till Epiphany) I can see spring off in the distance and spring training is just around the corner. Days are finally getting longer and hope springs eternal.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

I'm glad it's over.  Looking forward to the new year and getting the drab winter behind us.

I'm happiest with green grass and flowers and warm weather.  Spring is the best.  Right now, everything is so drab looking.

Congrats on 9 years @Luvsmyfam .

Never like to wish my life away. Christmas and the holidays bring back so many fond memories. Being grateful with all the blessings

and good things always helps with being down.

Out of all the horrible things going on right now...Christmas and holidays don't fall into that category of bringing me down.

Happens every year.  I would think one would expect it.

Re: ANYONE ELSE A LITTLE DOWN ?

Yes, I get the post holiday blues.

For the last two weeks I have been deep cleaning, decorating, wrapping, planning the menu and shopping for food, etc.  I had overnight guests for two nights & my son is still here.  We had a house full for Christmas dinner.  It is exhausting!

For the last two days other than having a doctor's appoinment, I just stayed at home & chilled.  I took a lot of long naps too.

Tomorrow however, it's back to cleaning, laundry and straightening up!  I'm having another couple over on NYE and I have not decided on what we are doing yet but it will be very low key.

My tree will stay up for another week.

I am happy Christmas is over. I dread every year having to buy gifts, cards, wrapping etc. Just the thought of going to a mall so close to Christmas causes me stress due to all the people and problems finding parking.
