But isn't that sort of "untooting" everyone else's horn here?

We have had people out of the blue buy us breakfast. Total strangers. We try to pass on the gesture as often as we can. It can just gives people such a lift, and it really isn't expensive, nor is it about the money

It's  nice to give as well as receive, thank you for sharing @Wheatchick1

@cherry

Nice people that you met.

We were at a meet and greet for a NASCAR event this summer and we met a stranger standing behind us.

You were only allowed one item to be signed. So he was bummed. He had three cars that he wanted signatures on. My husband and I said that we would help him out and take one car each so he would still get them signed.

It was really no big deal. After we gave him his cars back, he offered to buy our family of four dinner but we didn't take him up on it. Kind man though.

I tried to buy a horn so I could “toot” but apparently QVC doesn’t carry them! Smiley Wink

Pay no attention to the unhappy nay-sayer. What you did was exemplary and a reminder to all of us what the season is really all about.

Nice to see you posting here @Wheatchick1. Heart

@elated  Come to think of it, that's really tooting one's own horn for not tooting isn't it?  I may have to think about that!  LOL!!

Wonderful gestures and it's so nice to see that it still rings true: one good turn deserves another! 👍👍
