My daughter sent me an Instagrem video by Morgan Martin that caused me to laugh so hard I had tears running down my face.
Do you have a child or grandchild that you must ask ALL questions before doing something for them because they change their minds daily?
The video was a mom asking her child about a banana.
Mom: Do you want a banana?
Okay, this banana or this banana?
Okay, so you want the one with the sticker?
Do you want me to peel it or do you want to peel it?
Okay, do you want me to just start it?
Okay, do I peel it halfway or the all the way?
Do I hand it to you like this or break it?
Do you do this as well? When my kids were young I never remember questioning them like this but I do it with all my grandkids.

@cjm61 Well that's the conversation here when grands come over! Almost exactly...if it isn't the right banana or peeled to the point they want it peeled - they won't eat it!!! That's kids...mine were the same way - to me, it assisted in helping them to start making decisions for themselves early on rather than me making them.

Awww, kids can be so adorable. This reminds me of my niece asking her cousin to be a flower girl in her wedding.
My niece handpainted a flower pot, planted colorful flowers in it with a sign sticking up that said "Will you be my flower girl?"
My niece took her (and her mom) out to lunch and when asked about being a flower girl, this adorable precocious 5-year old said "Yes, I will...but...I might change my mind!"

I think when you're a working parent you have less time and sometimes patience to ask the "banana questions".
As a grandma, we have more time and it is said that "Grandchildren are God's reward for getting old".

Good grief. No, I never did that. Once my kids and grandkids were old enough, they could grab their own banana to eat.
