Among Friends

What did you receive that was special for that significant birthday?I am trying to come up with something unusual for a friend from my gym.

My 50th came and went.  I didn't get what I wanted from DH, he knew what I wanted too.  Didn't happen at 51 nor at 52. 

At age 53 when I realized he wasn't coming through for me I bought what I wanted myself. 

I loved driving around town in my brand new Honda S2000 roadster in medium silver grey ragtop. 

When DH saw it tht bright sunshiny day in May some years ago, he couldn't believe his eyes.  All I said was "I told you I wanted one honey", and walked away.
