@Venezia And is your scolding other posters for what they choose to post necessary?  Must you dictate what others should or should not post?  Are you the forum police?  SAD.

You are spot on @KKJ  He emotionally arrested because of the trauma.

@KKJ - Of course you're entitled to post whatever you like, within the rules of these forums.  As am I.  (You also are not the forum police.  LOL - that's always the predictable comeback.)  And I find it very sad that a woman can't even be remembered on the anniversary of her tragic death, without cheap potshots being taken at her son.  (There will be plenty of other threads and opportunities for that.)

Both Harry and William were very small children at the time of her death and badly traumatized by it.  Who knows how that has affected them to this day?

But, as I'm not going to be drawn into derailing this thread further, I will stick to the actual subject and say that I remember the day all too well and Diana died much too young.  RIP, Diana.

Have a good evening.

@Venezia    Well said. I would hope that before people use this forum to get in a nasty shot at Harry, they would look at the pictures of a 12 year old Harry walking behind his mother's casket. Then ask themselves is it really necessary to write something so negative and mean? Maybe just once take the high road.

I still see the same Harry today sitting along side his wife.

I remember that terrible Saturday night. I stayed up all night watching the news reports. When the report came in that she had died I cried and cried thinking of her two sons who were so young. Harry was just a child.

He still is... As for Princess Diana, I remember an announcement coming on the TV about the accident but it was initially reported her injuries were minor. For some reason, this didn't feel right to me and shortly after they came on with the announcement of her passing, which shocked and saddened me greatly. I somehow expected it, though I don't know why.

I agree!

@stevieb @KKJ - Was that dig at Harry really necessary?  Couldn't you just let this thread be about remembering Princess Diana?

Why is there always a need to add a negative commentary?  SAD. Woman Frustrated

Sorry you're sad. I said what I chose to say. The bulk of my post was about Diana now wasn't it. Moving on.

Diana passed 28 years ago. I think it’s ok to branch out and talk about other things.
