We just had 2 snow squall warnings within 30 minutes of each other. This time the warnings came to fruition.

The 1st snow squall passed through quickly, but the 2nd one took its time. I had no idea I was living in a winter wonderland Lol.

I feel for you @Desert Lily living in a crazy microclimate area myself.

Our only somewhat reliable weather source is a local person that lives in our county who is interested enough and understands our unique terrain. He puts out alerts and livestreams via Facebook and other platforms. Thank goodness for him!

The two major cities I live between (Seattle & Vancouver, Canada) can't seem to predict our temperature and/or which way the wind will blow. Granted the moderate Pacific Ocean and a few mountain ranges do not make it easy.

As many do during winter, I'm prepared for extended periods at home as an inch or two becomes a foot of snow that overstays its welcome at my house. Take care.

I'm in eastern Pa., too and got about what they said we would, around 5 inches. My sister lives about 15 miles from me and she's having a terrible squall. She says she can't even see across the street it's so bad. I'm in the squall area, too, but so far nothing and hope it stays that way. They said to watch for flash freezing on the roads from the squall, so be careful.

Here in Buffalo, we measure our snow in feet, lol.  There are many factors that can change a weather forecast.  Our weather people do an amazing job here!
