Our area in E. PA was forecasted to get 4" of snow.

At 2AM there was a winter storm warning on my phone, but of course I was sleeping then.

I woke up to 13.8" of snow!!

On Wednesday, the snow removal service I use sent an email that they were taking a 3-day weekend this weekend. Thank goodness they changed their minds & will be here later today.

I don't understand how a forecast at 10PM can be 10 inches off the amount of snow that fell overnight.

What's your weather doing?

My son is in NYC. He texted that they have 10 inches and snow still falling.

I am in south central PA.  We got about three inches of snow, but it melted when it hit the streets and even our driveway.

We only have snow in our grassy areas.  We have no need to shovel any snow, but my car could use a quick brush off.

Right now it's cold, but sunny here.

Central Ohio forecast was 3 - 5 inches.  My suburb has 8+ on the ground, with 12" just north (10 miles)

It's always hard when you get far more snow than predicted.

In MA, we were told to prepare for a foot of snow last weekend and we ended up with about four inches. Always better to get less than expected.

At least your snow removal service changed their plans and will take care of it.

Wow @Desert Lily , that's a good amount of snow!  We have a very light snow falling this morning in RI.  It's not supposed to add up to anything much, still pretty cold outside though.   I'm staying in for the weekend cozy and warm.

All of you stay safe and well!

@Desert Lily   Same here in central, coastal New Jersey.  We were to get 1-3 inches of snow.  This morning about 8 inches of snow on the ground and still snowing.  Our county got hit particularly hard with some townships getting 12-13 inches of snow.   I would say the 'weather guessers' as my friend calls them, were off by a lot!!

I can picture a beautiful snowfall. We've had two big storms so far this season, which is below average for Wisconsin. I'm glad it's on a weekend for those of you that got over a foot.

Northern Delaware got about 3” overnight. It’s now snowing again, but very lightly.

Here in WA state--just got a dusting in certain areas over Wednesday night. Nothing where I live. But a few higher locales got 7 inches and below. Been a wonky winter around here--warmer than whatever normal is/was.  EL NINO is doing its weird stuff
