@Linmo I buy Andrew Lessman's Cranberry and D-Mannose capsule. I take one everyday. This was one of his TSV's recently.. It was $59.98 for 480 capsules.

I've read this too, @Linmo. However, generally thought of as safe, it's not true for everyone. Anyone with compromised kidneys has to avoid aspirin and NSAIDS. Cranberry supplement capsules contain salicylates which is similar to salicylic acid that is in aspirin. Anyone with an aspirin allergy or taking blood thinners should avoid cranberry supplements.
Good to know @JeanLouiseFinch. I don't have any of those issues so hopefully it will give me some added protection.

Thanks @JeanLouiseFinch
I just Googled possible side effects of this supplement. Do any of you taking it have side effects?

That stuff is not drinkable by it's self
I could cut it with water or add some Stevia. Has anyone done the latter?

@Linmo You're welcome.
I forgot to add that my doctor said i should take the cranberry/D manos combo along with 1000 mg of vitamin C. I take them all everyday, along with trying to keep up with drinking more water.

I have it in the three grocery stores in my area. Typically it is set aside separately from the regular juice. so you really have to look for it.

Thaks to all who took the time to help me with my UTI/cranberry question. I hope I'm on the mend.
I thought I was a couple of days ago and it came back
but now under control again. I'll check back in with the Dr
once I finish my round of antibiotics.
PUR cranberry juice
What can I say? If I had to drink that cr*p by it's self, I wouldn't have made it. Words fail me. But, I'm mixing it with water and the good but fake cranberry juice DH bought for me. My husband said "let me try it, it can't be that bad". HA! I gladly handed him the bottle. He spit and sputter for 30 minutes LOL
