Acupuncture for Pain????

anyone try acupuncture for relief of pain. I go to a good pain management Dr.,but this pain in my coccyx,with no known cause is just awful!! Have had it for 10 + years and is getting worse.

anyone try this. I have looked in my area and found a Dr.,who also does pain management and chiropractor who studied acupuncture at Harvard,UCLA. How bad can he be???? Can't hurt,can it? TIA from anyone with info.
