Today found the DVD of the final season of SB. Can't believe what is in there. Also an interview w/ Robert Kennedy.

And there was no one left to speak out for me....

Love them, and they were very good folk singers aside from the comedy. I loved their show (they gave Glen Campbell his start too) and CBS treated them abominably.

I always watched the Smothers Brothers and enjoyed their variety show.  Seeing Robert Kennedy being interviewed would be sad for me knowing how he tragically died so young as did his brother and Martin Luther King at the time.  They are all part of history.

However, the Smothers Brothers show was a good one in my opinion and it always entertained me.

Sometime in the early 60s, I saw their show live.  A good memory.
