@Indra Love MM and just found out that Midsomer was the name of the town where the murder takes place.  If you are a reader and enjoy similar stories, I highly recommend the P.D. James novel, "The Skull Beneath the Ski,." a truly British murder novel.  In fact I recommend all P.D.James novels.  She is a wonderful author especially with descriptions of the possible suspects.
