Just read over at TMZ that Judge Wapner died at 97yrs old. Remember him from People's Court?

This is sad news!  I remember his show very well.

 

Living to 97 years old is certainly beating the odds!

Judge Wapner was the original of the TV court judges.

So sorry to hear that.  I remember him well as a kind, but strict, judge--sort of a grandfather figure.  He lived a long life.  May he rest in peace.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

That's what I was thinking, but I wasn't for sure.  He definitely blazed the trail for all of the court shows to follow.
