It looks like Big Brother 24 may still be on track for an earlier start than we've seen in recent years. Casting has moved to the point where they're already reminding those selected to quickly return their paperwork. That means they're done with the initial culling and have settled on their top 30-50 candidates.

Once casting gets the paperwork back from those candidates, they'll start flying those still eligible to LA for interviews (maybe do the interviews online these days?) Then keep narrowing the field down until they get their top sixteen.

Bear in mind, this is still just March, so things are moving much more quickly in terms of casting than we'd typically see. In a normal season, they're starting casting about now. Everything on the casting side is about a month ahead of the normal casting schedule which implies the show will be starting about a month earlier. This makes sense as the Thursday and Sunday shows conflict with the NFL when the show extends into September. Starting it earlier, in late May will let it end in late August/early September, before the start of the NFL regular season.

My best guess is the first show will air as Survivor wraps up in late May. Slide BB 24 right into the Survivor slot on Wednesday nights. We'll have to see, but the tea leaves indicate an earlier start for BB24.

June sixth seems to be the target date for the start of BB 24 according to uvp who does a countdown each season at Jokers. I would say late May to early June based on what we're seeing, so June sixth slots in there nicely. Things are about a month ahead of the "normal" BB schedule so far in terms of casting.

Julie is back on social media posting reminders of the upcoming season of BB, so an earlier than normal start still seems to be in order. A late May/early June start seems nearly certain now. Julie doesn't typically start with her promos until about six or seven weeks preshow. Everything is moving faster this year than normal.
