The show belonged to the guy who killed everybody in the diner.  I remember them having shown his shoes in a scene prior to that.

As for the UFO thing - I've seen some suppositions but nothing concrete.  Maybe a bit of misdirection.     They don't want us to figure out everything right away, right?

I just got lucky!    I remembered one shot where they panned down to his shoes and I remember thinking 'man, those are some really bad shoes'.  hehe

Yeah, me too on the spoiler bit about that other character.

I didn't see the first season but the promos looked so good and the reviews were excellent so I watched it. I really liked it. I don't know who Molly is or her father but my understanding was this was sort of a prequel to the first season. Is that correct?

"Hanzie" is an interesting character.  Jean Smart is doing an excellent job portraying Ma Gerhardt.  Other than the familiar voice, I wouldn't have know it was her.

I didn't watch the first season but I like this one. I like that the show moves at a fast clip and not stretching it out.
