CLARK'S A 222498 AND A223740? SAME EXACT SHOE - DIFFERENT PRICE

I presently own A223740 in Sand Suede and I love them. ($64.92 I went online to order another pair and they are sold out so I was scanning QVC website hoping to find something similar and I almost did a doubletake when I saw A222498. It is the exact same shoe for $13.00 more. I had two video screens open and examined both shoes. They are the same. The only difference is A223498 is only offered in Sand and Blue denim, whereas A223740 is offered in Black, Gold, Berry and Blue.

I called Customer Service and the woman agreed it is the same shoe but couldn't tell me why they are selling the same shoe under a different item number, slightly different description but for more money. I do not feel I should have to pay $13 more for the same shoe.

If anyone has time and wants to check it out and let me know what you think, I would be so grateful. I sent an email to QVC asking for an explanation. I am waiting for a reply.
