1975 Sig - Full Flap Crossbody vs Zip Around Wallet?

Hi all - anyone have experience with both? I know the Full Flap Crossbody is bigger, but wondering how close it is in functionality to the more traditional Zip Around Wallet?

The "string" on the Full Flap CB also looks like it might be flimsy (at least in pics). Do those of you who use this as a Crossbody feel like it's securely on your shoulder?
