White Cake recipe

Hi, does anyone have a great white cake recipe? I am looking for a wedding-cake type recipe that has a raspberry filling with a buttercream frosting. Anyone?

My granny had a friend that made cakes and she made the most wonderful wedding cake. She not only made it for weddings but birthdays too. She passed away and never gave anyone her recipe! It was a marvelous cake.
