Simple Ice Cream Dessert for the holidays

I was just typing this for my computer files and thought I'd post it for any who might like the idea.

Snow Balls

Make them ahead for Christmas or birthdays and freeze.

Make large snow balls of vanilla ice cream using an ice cream scoop.

Roll in flaked or shredded coconut.

Press a hole in top if candle is to be used.

Work quickly and put each ball in freezer when shaped.

When frozen solid, dump into plastic bag and return to freezer.

To serve, decorate top of each ball with holly, a small lighted candle, or other appropriate garnish.
