Those patties look really good....too much cholesterol though for our diet restrictions.I wish I could go back to the days when we ate anything and didn't have to think about it.

YUM!!! Love Sausage. I eat sausage or bacon with eggs or sausage gravy for breakfast several times per week. I have lost weight since I started eating this for breakfast. I'm not hungry all day looking for something to eat. So far my cholesterol is fine.

I don't know about the onions. I love onion flavor cooked into foods but I don't eat slices of onion as it makes me belch all day & I mean all day. I cannot cut up onions anyways because they make my eyes burn & run until I wake up the next day. I have to leave the room when DH cuts them up.

@flbettyboop. Looks good, I make something similar, 1 lb sausage, generous 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1 teaspoon or so rubbed sage, scant tea. Of dry mustard and teaspoon of red pepper flakes. 1 egg. Sorry I don't really have accurate measures. My family frequently. Request this they eat on hamburger roll. If I use ground pork I add salt and pepper, which when we butcher is all we put in pork to make sausage, then we can controll the amount of fat in our sausage.

I had a Winn Dixie chef tell me to eat scallons.  I have problems eating regular onions.
