Just a heads up for those of you who may be like me and like visit cooking websites, and somehow missed out on this one. It's an interesting site with lots of participation, how to's, cookbooks, contests, etc. If you already knew about it, did you tell us? You should have.

I have ""The New York Times Cookbook"" by Craig Claiborne dated 1961. Interesting recipes!

Zhillis, I do, too. I haven't looked at it for awhile (but will now), and remember that it has great chicken recipes - if I remember correctly. This website has recipes from everywhere, and some are pretty exotic, but there are many practical ones, too. I like that there are pictures of each recipe, and the site is easy to navigate once you get started. Thanks for responding.

Hello, Beebee2. Thank you for reminding me of this website, http://food52.com/. It is a really good site, one where I can spend entirely too much time browsing.
Oh, I had several of The New York Times cookbooks by Craig Claiborne, but donated them when we moved a few years ago. I do remember them as excellent reading, but don't remember ever using a single recipe.

Oh, it's so nice to 'see' you, MrsG. I hope all is well with you! I really need to donate some cookbooks. I've been going through them, and trying hard to winnow the collection, but am not very successful.

Thanks for sharing the link to NY Times & Food 52. It's hard not to keep looking through all the different recipes once you go to one of these sites. Here is one I ran across Disneyland Recipes from Around The World. It's amazing to look at all the different recipes. Be forewarned you will be there all day looking. LOL!!! http://allears.net/din/rec.htm & Epcot Recipes http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/recipes.htm & The Disney Food Blog-Cupcake recipes. http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/disney-world-cupcakes/ YUM!!!
