freezing rhubarb

Husband's co-worker gave him a big bag of rhubarb. I'm trying to remember how. Found article online saying it must be in a sugar solution. Don't remember that.

I buy it frozen at the store...it's just sliced, no sugar added...

I love rhubarb, I clean and cook in a very little water with frozen strawberries. Cook until tender, add sugar to taste and cinnamon. Delish!
