Since were talking about this wonderful thread and thanks for sharing Barbarainnc. Are there other sites you purchase wooden utensils from that are made by hand and solid wood?

Thanks for posting this. Didn't know what a spurtle was until I opened up the link! I learn something new every day!
Btw, I love some of my wooden kitchen utensils. But find that the less expensive ones really don't hold up too well. For me, it's been nice to add to my collection of decent, long-lasting spoons here and there. Check Amazon or Williams Sonoma.
I have bamboo salad "hands" and although I love them and wash by hand, they are splintering a bit. And I haven't had them for more than a year yet. They were very inexpensive, I think $12 for the pair.
