I loved the portable so you could stack the pots under the drain and the hot water washed them too!

I've not had good luck with Whirlpool. I bought all new applicances 6 years ago.  The microwave quit after 3 years, the stove after 4 years and last week then dishwasher died.  So been replacing with Frigidaire instead.

I ordered a GE portable dishwasher about a year ago.  Just a couple of tips:  Because it is so quiet, keep an ear on it.  I had to call service before the first year was up and they had to replace two parts.  There was something wrong with the waterflow and the panel control. It stopped working, but once the "brain" was replaced, I haven't had any problems.  If you get an "888" code, call customer service.  I just learned that GE appliances was sold to Haier some time ago and is no longer owned by GE.
