I LOVE popcorn. It's a healthy whole grain snack (okay, or meal), but sometimes it needs a little somethin' extra. These are the flavorings that I've come up with so far:
-grated parmesan/parm-blend cheese
-garlic w/ parsley powder
-onion w/ parsley powder
-cracked or ground black pepper
-crushed red pepper
-fully-cooked real bacon bits/pieces/crumbles
-Kraft Easy Cheese (preferably the sharp cheddar or cheddar w/ bacon flavor).
Yes. Cheese in a can. Real cheese that's low in saturated fat, has no trans fats, and is a good source of protein and calcium. Got some last evening along with other non-perishables, and it can go on or go into just about anything...including straight into your mouth.
Some of these products even come reduced or lower fat, so anyone can modify what they're having, even right down to the popcorn.
I would really like to see yours - maybe some seasoning/spice blend? - as I think many of the other posters will, too.
