A friend of mine uses a box cutter for grating cheese and carrots. I have a manual cutter with 5 cones, and wanted to find one for her. I looked on ebay and Amazon. They were too expensive. So, today I stopped at the Habitat for Humanity store, there was one for $9.50. I got it for my friend. A new one is $159.00 to $200.00. What a bargain. I'm sure they didn't know what they had. Another time I found a Cutco Chef knife for 60 cents. They retail online for $144.00.

A box cutter is a tool with a blade used for opening boxes.  Are you referring to a box grater?

Remember the Salad Shooter of 10 years ago that was so popular?  I still use mine.  One of the best small appliances ever.  I don't know why they don't still market them.  I think you can get one on Amazon.

Yup, that's it !!!! Love it for grating carrots for slaw, shredding cabbage. grating cheese for cheese straws, shredding potatoes for hashbrowns.
