Too bad you didn't get them, these are on par or a little better than the Techniques ones and are great. Cleanup is a snap and cooking is nice and even. I have Calphalon and All-Clad but tried some of Emeril's when he had a couple of open stock skillets on the Southern Channel and they are great! I too am a dish and pan junkie, but have put the breaks on since I just re-did my kitchen last year with a lot more storage and already have it filled.
