Am i being unreasonable?

We have to be at church tomarrow at 6:30 PM - my DH wants to have dinner first at his usual time which is 5:30. I told him he either has to eat earlier or he has to just have a sandwich because I can't cook a meal - serve it and eat then do the dishes and get a bath and get ready for church all at the same time. At our church we dress up for church every sunday let alone on Christmas Eve so i don't want to get all cleaned up then get all messy making - eating and cleaning up dinner.We are going out afterward and he will have food there so I don't get why a sandwich won't be enough to get him through.He seems to feel I am being unreasonable.
