I don't mean to sound naive, but as a relatively new Ripkanista, I've noticed that the newer items usually are introduced at higher prices (sometimes much) than most of us hope for, then don't sell out initially (except for things like the Monaco), and then quickly are moved to clearance.
Wouldn't it make better sense if the Q priced things lower when they were first introduced (say 20% less) or offered free shipping for that first showing, rather than letting them sit and then be sold at clearance a few months later? Now I will admit I am not a marketing exec, but to me, common sense says this would be a good idea.
