Re: Eterna Gold warranty, does it even exist?

I purchased quite a bit back in the day and even sold a few pieces. From what I remember, the gold is real, and Leach Gardner developed an alloy that makes the gold resistant to damage. Alloys are common in jewelry and theirs was developed for strength and used in many applications. They've been in business for many years. The jeweler who purchased my items gave me fair market value and was knowledgable in Leach Gardner jewelry. The pieces remaining are still in beautiful condition.

Re: Eterna Gold warranty, does it even exist?

I think jewelers' objection to buying Eterna Gold has something to do with the alloy, not whether it is solid or hollow. There used to be long threads on this all the time. Gold is purchased by weight, so solid or hollow wouldn't matter. What I've always wondered about is the resin filled stuff, but I don't think I own any.
