Do you have the o rings on your necklaces soldered?

Way back when I first started buying jewelry I never even thought about that. I ended up losing a chain and a couple of pendants because the o rings weren't soldered. Now, I inspect every piece of jewelry that I buy and check to see if the o rings need to be soldered.

Just wondering if you all do that, too.
