Charms always on waitlist?

I received the starter charm bracelet for my birthday this past August. I haven't bought any new charms since the idea was to get them for gifts for Christmas, B day, etc. But I notice that the charms are pretty much always on waitlist. Do they ever come into stock? My family will be disapponted not to be able to buy any for me for Christmas and I am disappointed too. Are you supposed to order even though they are on waitlist and just wait till they come in? Thanks for any info.
