? About sizing a tennis bracelet

I was gifted with a lab created Pink Sapphire bracelet 7 3/4". It is waaay to big for me. If I take it to a jeweler, can they take out a few stones so the bracelet fits me? If so, will it cost booka bucks? I'm not willing to sink a lot into the bracelet. It's sterling silver. Thanks for any help..{#emotions_dlg.biggrin}
