While not my favored style, @lil sophie ,  there's something cute and unexpected about it!   Like some others, I also am not fond of chairs or tables that look like hands, but can enjoy the quirky, spirited feeling of this room vignette.

I like yellow, but I don't like the shape of the daybed. The back seems very low to me creating an odd proportion. I agree it would be a bit difficult to get in and out of.

I much prefer my chair and a half (larger chair size) with a matching ottoman that I can move closer to the chair if needed. The memory foam cushions make it comfortable for sitting, lounging, or sleeping.

Yah, hate to disappoint, but not much of a fan of that MUCH yellow.  Prefer it in touches... Cat Happy

As a couch, large pillows would be needed with the depth.

Re: daybed sofa

As a teenager, I picked out low shag carpeting for my bedroom; lemon, lime and white. That daybed would have been perfect!

I like it and I like the colors-very bright, and cheerful!

It does look rather deep though. Absolutely do not like the hand statue-yikes!! very creepy to me......
