We have been up in Erie for a few days and last night we went to a favorite restaurant. It has been remodeled since we were there last year and they did the entryway and an accent wall and the sides of the bar in stacked stone. This usually outside element was beautiful inside. I love this look outside and one of the things that sold me on buying our current home was stacked stone accents in the front. I never thought of it inside though & it was beautiful.

There's a place near us that we've dined at called Connor's. It has a lot of interesting stone work inside.

I think I'll be taking my mother to the quilt show in Erie next week. What is the name the restaurant? Thanks!

I love stonework. I believe I could live very happily in a castle. <3

As long as little creepy crawlies can't find happiness in between the stones.

Here's an exquisite wall of stacked stone at Chaco Canyon National Park done 1,000 years ago without the use of modern tools. Chaco Canyon was the epicenter of Pueblo Indian culture and most people never heard of it. It's a massive ruin with many of these stacked stone walls. The Sandia Casino, just across the valley from me has huge pillars made of stacked stone.

yes, grey. When we lived in Pa our front walk, steps and porch were Pa. Bluestone. I absolutely loved it.

LOVE stone - indoors and outdoors - adds a touch of natural beauty and warmth.
Whether it is real full stone or fake facade stone - both can add so much to your space you are working with.
My house exterior is 1/3 stone - I always thought it would be cool if it is was all stone. I also like stone for patios, porchs, sidewalks, stairways, etc, etc ... You get the idea 😍!
