Hang 2 curtains.  Buy one that fits your space exactly, in a color that matches the one you love.  Hang the longer one behind the shorter one from the same shower hooks.  I think that might work fine.

Just cut and sew! I found the perfect shower curtain for a shower stall but the curtain was too wide. I just measured what would be comfortable for that size shower, cut off one side, sewed up a hem to match the other side...walla done! Perfect!
