Easy, super cheap way to change the way wood looks!!! This is cool

I bought a very nice picture frame, one of those collage style ones from Michael's, however, I thought the frame didn't really go with my decor (I like distressed looking stuff). So I sanded down the frame and then went over it with a white crayon really well, then chose another color and went over that. It looks so cool, like I bought it that way! I had some other wood pieces that I also did that too--wow whoda thunk it! Just crayons from my children's crayon box!
